NO way? Paving A Path to Well-Being …

Are you ready to face a bold world of possibilities?

Many of us have been trained to say yes to how others around us — whether it’s our parents, family, teachers, bosses, partners, lovers, friends, society and governments — expect us to show up in life as responsible human beings. We’ve been raised with a false belief that someone outside ourselves knows what’s best for us. And most likely, these expectations span centuries of societal conditioning.

And yet, we’ve each been gifted with an ability to practice discernment. When we choose to step back as observers, we can identify the efforts and programming that have been instilled in us to mask ourselves from making sure we don’t hurt or offend anyone. We’ve been led to believe that it’s somehow our job to ensure that everyone around us feels good; often, at our own expense.

Sometimes the hardest thing to do is to stand up for ourselves and simply say, NO, even to ourselves! But how can we when we were taught to comply with what’s good? And this is a foundational issue that each of us has to come to terms to at our own pace. Someone set the norm and standard for what is good and what is bad for us, without truly knowing us.
