No One Knows

and that’s a hard pill to swallow

I really have a hard time when people tell me they know how I am feeling or that they have been in my shoes. They may think they know but they don’t have a clue. They are not me and I am not them.

Author Paulo Coelho tells us that when we walk in a forest, we will experience many different trees along the path. No two leaves on hundreds of trees are alike. And no two journeys, along the path, are alike. In his book, The Alchemist, he reminds us that “We are travelers on a cosmic journey, stardust, swirling and dancing in the eddies and whirlpools of infinity. Life is eternal. We have stopped for a moment to encounter each other, to meet, to love, to share. This is a precious moment. It is a little parenthesis in eternity.”

Some people are making a life, while the majority is making a living.

The current world we have created is one based on the self achieving success for the self. We’ve been adorning non-physical masks for centuries; masking ourselves, and our gifts, lest we not be accepted by this false world.

The truth of the matter and the reality of it all is that each of us is part of a story — the story we tell ourselves and the story we tell others.

Getting to our soul takes work. And no prepares you for it. How could they? They don’t have a clue what you really need.
