Tell someone you’re a CEO and they lean in. Say you’re a janitor and they look over your shoulder. But neither tells them who you really are.

It takes a lifetime to truly know someone. Most haven’t even met ourselves yet.

I’ve been asked: “Are you here for business or pleasure?” My answer: Yes. There’s no line between them. Just life. And wholeness.

But we’ve built a world that mistakes making a living for making a life. We program kids with “What do you want to be?” Then grow into adults who still have no clue.

We’re taught to perform. To climb. To please. And then wonder why burnout is now a “mental health syndrome” instead of a screaming signal that the system is sick and collapsing.

The truth? Some of the most important work isn’t even paid. Raising kids. Holding space. Being real. Yet so many say, “I’m just a … title in someone else’s story.” Just nothing.
