Be the Person You Need Most in the World

Can you imagine a world where you can show up as who you are?

For some reason, you may have been wired to seek a person, an expert or a coach to help navigate your life. It’s not surprising since our current world has taught us to seek answers that are predictable and safe from someone who holds the knowledge and the secrets to your success. As a kid, you may have been taught to listen to the person in the front of the room, and give them your full attention and respect, even when they couldn’t answer your most basic questions like, why are we all here? And, what is the meaning of life?

Like a turkey, you may have been stuffed, but unlike a turkey, the stuffing was comprised of knowledge and you were very much alive and full of curiosity. While you played with your wild imagination — diving endless times on your mother’s bed or constructing worlds under your sheets — you were also taught how to show up and be polite, presentable and a “good” person. You learned that to comply, you had to shut parts of yourself off and participate in the world beyond your own.

The people in your physical world had a plan for you from the time you were born, and their role was to prepare you to become a responsible and contributing member of society. If they did not have access to getting an education, they dreamt for you to get the best…
